FLOWER DONATIONS ARE BEING ACCEPTED FOR THE 2026-2027 LITURGICAL YEAR! Please consider choosing a feast day or two to contribute to the beautiful flowers that adorn our church and commemorate your loved ones. Flower donation forms will be available in the narthex and via parish email, or you may email flowers@holytransfiguration.org to receive a form. Donations (made out to Holy Transfiguration Church) may be given to Emily Bickl or mailed to the church (Attn: Emily Bickl). Thank you so much for your generosity and may God "sanctify those that love the beauty of Thy house."
COFFEE HOUR VOLUNTEERS NEEDED Do you enjoy staying for coffee hour every week? Then you should be part of making it happen! It's a new Church year and we have updated the signup genius through the end of 2027. Please consider choosing a couple dates over the next year to help make coffee and clean up. No food is required! You can sign up using the button below or speak to Carrie Severino during coffee hour.
CONCERNING CONFESSION: Confessions are not available during The Introductory Psalm of Vespers, the Hexapsalm of Orthros, and during any reading from Scripture or homily at any Divine Service, and at Divine Liturgy once the Entrance with the Gospel Book takes place. Please feel free to make arrangements with any of the priests for confession or spiritual counseling at another time.
A REMINDER: When in Church, we are in the presence of the Lord of All, a Place of Awe. We dress and act appropriately. Avoid idle chatter. Please silence cellphones. No recording or photography is allowed without the express permission of the priest. No snacks or drinks in church. Modest, appropriate, respectful attire is the norm. Shorts are not appropriate for adults.
PLANNING ON MARRIAGE AT HOLY TRANSFIGURATION? Please contact the rectory and arrange to meet with Father Mark at least six months before the planned date of the Rite of Crowning or the Blessing of the Marriage for counseling. Participation of the couple in Holy Transfiguration’s two-month marriage preparation program is required prior to the service. Contact the marriage prep team at marriage@holytransfiguration.org as soon as possible.
PLANNING ON A BAPTISM AT HOLY TRANSFIGURATION? Please contact the parish secretary to obtain the required paperwork. Participation of the parents and sponsors (Godparents) in Holy Transfiguration’s pre-baptismal catechesis class is expected prior to scheduling the baptism.
